A company that is all about making life fun, URC Snack Foods (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., a multinational company and subsidiary of JG Summit Holdings, Inc. in the Philippines, was incorporated in Malaysia as Pacific World Sdn. Bhd. on 10th November 1982 and commenced operations in 1984.

On 1st March 2001, Pacific World changed its name to URC Snack Foods (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (URC).
